Sydni-Dee and Armand’s session shows that you can have romantic engagement photos infused with personality.

Color and Charm in the French Quarter

Sydni-Dee and Armand wanted French Quarter engagement photos in preparation for their wedding in the spring of next year. They’ll have their ceremony at the Pharmacy Museum and reception at the New Orleans Athletic Club. This photo session was a great way to warm up for their very French Quarter wedding!

I loved showing these two my favorite spots in the French Quarter during their visit. The French Quarter is iconic. It’s got charming colonial architecture with those iconic ironwork balconies. There is so much color in this neighborhood, too. You get everything from earthy clay colors to bright pastels. Sydni-Dee and Armand’s outfits coordinated so well with the setting. They had their palette perfected.

Personality-Filled French Quarter Engagement Photos

For Sydni-Dee and Armand’s session, we really prioritized photos that showcased their personalities. These two have so much fun together. Armand really knows how to make Sydni-Dee laugh. I wanted their photos to show their sweet, silly sides. The photos of them playing rock-paper-scissors are some of my favorites! They told me that those photos are “very us.” What more could you want for your engagement photos?
