Vibrant Jewish Wedding at Elms Mansion

Elms Mansion is an elegant New Orleans wedding venue with beautiful interiors and stunning outdoor spaces. Sarah and Alan’s vibrant wedding decor took the venue’s beauty to a new level. They brought together an incredible team of vendors for their family-oriented celebration.

Elms Mansion: A New Orleans Wedding Venue

If you want a wedding venue that screams “Southern elegance,” Elms Mansion is it! The mansion, built in the 1860s, has gorgeously preserved interiors and dramatic architectural details. This historic venue is located right on St. Charles Avenue, so you get the full Garden District experience. Packages range between $3,500 and $10,000.

Elms Mansion has so many beautiful places for portraits. The gold mirror and fireplace in the sitting room are breathtaking. Somehow this venue gets even more magical at night. I loved photographing the horah under the strings of lights!

Vibrant Wedding Details for a Family Celebration

Sarah’s family owns Rothschild Diamond, the company that made her ring. She put a lot of care into selecting her vendors for her wedding. Lisa from Hallowed Ground Productions was her planner and a past wedding photography client of mine. Sarah loved Lisa’s wedding photos so much that she asked me to photograph her wedding!

Family was a HUGE part of this wedding day. Sarah and her sister run a business together, and they’re super close. One of my favorite moments from the day was when Sarah’s sister helped her put her shoes on and gave her encouraging words. Alan’s dance with his mother was really special as well.

Even though Elms Mansion is so stately, Sarah and Alan weren’t afraid of color! Their floral chuppah was jaw-dropping. I mean, WOWZA. Those pink and white flowers brought so much life and personality to the venue.
