Pharmacy Museum Wedding with Reception at Broussard’s

For travel lovers Rachel and Zach, a Pharmacy Museum wedding was the perfect way to celebrate their marriage. They treated their friends and family to an intimate ceremony at one of the coolest French Quarter wedding venues. Afterward, they headed to Broussard’s for a heartwarming reception with candlelight, beignets - and a sequin jumpsuit!

Beautiful Pharmacy Museum Wedding

A Pharmacy Museum wedding has all the quirky charm of the French Quarter. You get a lush, intimate courtyard for your ceremony, and you get access to the museum. Antique apothecary tools and potions fill the shelves. Your wedding portraits will definitely stand out from those at your typical wedding venue.

Rachel’s and Zach took such a great approach to their Pharmacy Museum wedding. Here’s what their day looked like:

  • They got ready and had their epic first look at the Omni Royal Hotel. I can’t say enough good things about the views from this beautiful balcony.

  • On the way to the Pharmacy Museum, we took colorful portraits around the French Quarter.

  • After the courtyard ceremony, we did a second line to Broussard’s for their reception.

The day really was a seamless celebration of the French Quarter.

As you can see from these wedding photos, Zach and Rachel are so much fun. They make each other laugh a lot, and they absolutely adore their dog. He even got to be their ring bearer! I love that you can bring your pup to this French Quarter wedding venue.

When it came to decor, Rachel wanted to keep things simple with earthy neutral colors like sage, rust, and mustard. (Her bouquet and the arbor were stunning.) They chose such beautiful venues for the ceremony and reception that Rachel wanted the scenery to speak for itself. With such dreamy tropical courtyards, you don’t need much to transport your wedding guests. A Pharmacy Museum wedding is always guaranteed to make people feel like they’ve entered another world for a while.

A Reception at Broussard’s

Rachel and Zach followed their Pharmacy Museum wedding with a reception in Broussard’s courtyard. Broussard’s is another French Quarter institution, and the courtyard was an ideal place for this heartfelt celebration. Between the romantic lighting and love overflowing during toasts, it was unforgettable.

When I sent Rachel the full gallery, she shared this review. I have to share it with you because it definitely made me tear up! “[Ashley] literally makes you feel like you are hanging with your bestie - my husband and I felt at ease the whole time and our pictures are STUNNING!" This moved me so much because I felt exactly the same way about Rachel and Zach.
